TRYKKERIET is pleased to present a series of new works by Lasse Årikstad October 31st at 20:00 o’clock

In collaboration with Lasse Årikstad, Trykkeriet has produced silkscreen and woodcut prints to be released on Saturday 31st of October. This is the third project this year where Trykkeriet invites an artist to make a new production.
Årikstad is educated from NTNU, Trondheim and Bergen (KHIB) where he received his master’s degree in fine art in 2014.
Lasse Årikstad (b. 1984) is recognized for his pop-inspired, slightly naive pictures, sculptures and installations. The work appears unpretentious and perhaps light at first glance, but upon further observation (Talking Heads -14), the literal layers of form and possible interpretations, in turn undermines this first impression. The Bergen audience has had the pleasure of Årikstad’s art during “Lokal 2015” where he was one of 27 exhibitors inside the old prison, with an installation in one of the cells.
